My Experience Visiting the School and Interacting with Students in the form a poem.

On a bright morning of May 9th, 2023, I had a privilege to visit Chitkara International. The school hosted my book “My Experiments with Innovation.” The students of Class XI and XII, along with the esteemed faculty, eagerly gathered to gain insights into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship.

As I  took the stage, the air was filled with anticipation. The atmosphere was electric, reflecting the enthusiasm and curiosity of the young minds present. The lecture began, resonating with the students who were eager to learn from the experiences of a seasoned innovator.

During my visit I learned that Chitkara International School, from its humble beginnings with just seven enrollments, has grown to become an institution of academic excellence. The core team comprising Dr. Niyati, Dr. Honey Chitkara, and Dr. Shalini have played a pivotal role in shaping the aspirations and achievements of the school. In a testament to women’s empowerment, these leaders have spearheaded the school’s journey towards greatness.

From a modest shed to two expansive campuses, Chitkara International School has come a long way. The memories of the first timetable, the inaugural assembly, the first classroom, and the school journal in 2005 serve as reminders of the school’s remarkable progress. Today, it stands as one of the best institutes in the country, known for nurturing global leaders and scientists.

One notable alumnus of Chitkara International School is Harkamal Singh Dhillon, who embarked on his educational journey as a Grade I student in 2006. The school has a proud track record of producing exceptional individuals, such as Harkamal, who go on to make a significant impact in their respective fields.

Moreover, Chitkara International School has made a mark with its impressive portfolio of patents. With 18 filed patents and 6 granted patents, the school fosters a culture of innovation and intellectual property creation, encouraging students to think beyond boundaries and unleash their creativity.

I have delivered numerous lectures to corporates, students, and universities but my experience with the Class XI and XII students at Chitkara International School was unique. I commend their thoughtfulness and futuristic approach in the questions they posed. Their inquiries ignited deep reflection and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing inquisitive minds.

The interactive session was a remarkable opportunity for the students to broaden their horizons and gain insights into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. It served as a catalyst for their own creative endeavors and aspirations to make a difference in the world.

As the event concluded, the hall buzzed with excitement and inspiration. The students left with a newfound sense of purpose, armed with the belief that they, too, could become the leaders and innovators of tomorrow. Their queries did not end at the end of the lecture, as I visited few class rooms the students continued to ask several queries and were eager to learn from my experience and journey.

Chitkara International School continues to provide a nurturing environment, where students are encouraged to push boundaries, think critically, and embrace innovation. With their exceptional leadership, dedicated faculty, and a commitment to academic excellence, the school sets an exemplary standard for educational institutions across the country.

My visit to Chitkara International School will forever be etched in my memory but also the lecture has sparked inspiration, encouraged innovation, and reaffirmed their shared commitment to shaping a better future!
