Dr. Nidhi Rastogi
Rochester Institute of Technology

Dr. Nidhi Rastogi is an accomplished researcher and Assistant Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her expertise lies at the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and graph analytics, with a focus on applications in enterprise networks, autonomous systems, and domestic terrorism.

Prior to joining the Rochester Institute of Technology, Dr. Rastogi served as a Research Scientist at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where she also obtained her Ph.D. Her impactful research work has been published in prestigious conferences in the field of artificial intelligence (KDD, ISWC, AAAI) [7,8,9] and security (ACM CCS, TrustCom, RAID, ARES) [1-6,10]. Her contributions have been recognized with best paper awards and she has been honored as an International Women in Cybersecurity by the Cyber Risk Research Institute.

Dr. Rastogi’s expertise has made her a sought-after speaker, and she has been invited to share her insights at renowned events such as the Aspen Institute, SANS cybersecurity summit, and the Grace Hopper Conference. Additionally, she has actively contributed to the research community by serving as a committee member and co-chair for various security conferences and workshops.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rastogi has received numerous accolades and positions of distinction. She was a recipient of the FADEx laureate for the 1st French-American Program on Cyber-Physical Systems in ’16. She also served as a Board Member for N2Women from 2018 to 2020 and acted as a Feature Editor for ACM XRDS Magazine from 2015 to 2017.

Dr. Rastogi’s expertise extends beyond academia, as she has gained practical experience in the field of network security and heterogeneous wireless networks (3G, 4G, 802.1x, 802.11) through engineering and research positions at Verizon, GE Global Research Center, and GE Power. Her groundbreaking research has been featured in respected publications such as the New York Times, Information Security, and HuffPost.

With her remarkable accomplishments and dedication to advancing the field of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and graph analytics, Dr. Nidhi Rastogi continues to make significant contributions to the research community and inspire future generations in the field.
